Jang Seong-min, director of policy coordination and planning at the Office of the President, is moving to attend the second meeting of the Busan World Expo 2030 bid committee held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the followingnoon of the 26th.
‘Busan World Expo 2030’ is an international expo to be held from May 1 to October 31, 2030 under the theme of ‘The Great Transformation of the World, a Voyage for a Better Future’ in the Busan North Port area.
The meeting was held on the topics of △Main contents of the invitation plan and future plans △Amendment (draft) of the committee operation bylaws △Status and plans of invitation negotiations △Busan project (tentative name) promotion direction and future plans △Private committee’s action plan for the second half of the year (draft) do.
