In principle, in the case of the Public Official Election Act, in which CEO Lee was indicted, a conclusion must be reached by the Supreme Court within one year, but there are exceptions.
In addition, it is highly likely that the prosecution will additionally hand over Lee to trial in relation to the suspicion of the Daejang-dong development project, the suspicion of sponsorship of Seongnam FC, and the payment of attorney fees.
This is the reason why political circles have analyzed that it is not easy for the Democratic Party to get out of the so-called ‘judicial risk’ of Lee Jae-myung.
