Kenna: Bridge of Spirit (herefollowing Kenna), which was released in September 2021 and boasted a unique charm with a difficulty opposite to the cute character, is now available on Steam. Upon its release, it reached #4 on the Steam Worldwide Best Selling Chart.
Kenna is an open world adventure created by indie game developer Amber Labs, and follows her journey with the ability to guide the soul. It shows excellent graphics by making good use of the skills that were originally in charge of animation production, such as cute Disney character design and visual beauty of event scenes.
Contrary to the cute image, the battle takes advantage of the strength and weakness control, rolling, and parrying, and when the difficulty is raised, it rises to the point of reminiscent of Dark Souls, which is why it is called Disney Soul by users.
After the Epic Games exclusive, Kena will be released on Steam, adding new content such as amulets that allow you to continue boss battles or change your playstyle, new outfits, and more. Whether users waited for the monopoly to end, the Steam evaluation was ‘very positive (268 people participated, 93% positive)’, giving favorable reviews.
As a commemoration of the launch, Kenna is offering a 25% discount until October 4th, so gamers interested in action and visuals may consider purchasing it.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Iron 4, which released a new DLC, climbed to second place. In addition, Grounded, which started its official release following finishing Early Access, ranked 5th, and Dome Keeper, a new mining roguelike that protects the dome, rose to 8th with the release.
In the TOP 20 of the highest number of concurrent users in Japan, Hearts of Iron 4 recorded 63,998 concurrent users due to the effect of the new DLC, ranking 13th. With custom mods and new locations added, Pasmophobia took 16th place with a maximum of 56,305.
