We asked Mun Gyo-ri, the main producer of 4DX, regarding the idol concert movie being produced with 4DX.
4DX is the brand name of CJ 4Dplex’s 4D movie screening system. With 4DX, you can experience an immersive movie experience, such as moving seats or smelling a scent that matches the movie.
‘Seventeen Power of Love: The Movie’, which recorded Seventeen’s online concert in April, was screened on this 4DX and became a huge hit. In addition to Seventeen, concerts of various idols such as IZone, Black Pink, and Monsta X were produced in 4DX.
Idol movies produced in 4DX have been well received by idol fans, offering things to see and enjoy. In particular, SEVENTEEN’s fandom, Carat, even commented that she felt like she was dancing with SEVENTEEN while watching the movie. She said she felt that way because when Seventeen danced, her seats moved properly together.
What should be paid attention to when directing a motion chair? Also, do idol members give direct feedback on their 4DX movies?
I asked the main PD Moon Gyo-ri, who is in charge of 4DX production, regarding questions regarding idol concert movies produced with 4DX directly. Meet in the video.
