As I said before, from now on, I will report on the incident of dating violence that MBC exclusively covered.
It’s a horrific thing that the victim experienced following breaking up with her boyfriend.
The content is somewhat shocking, but we deliver the news while empathizing with the suffering of the victims who are trembling in fear.
Let’s take a look at reporter Yoo Seo-young’s report first.

A woman in her 30s who lives in an officetel in Incheon.
The day there was no hell was the dawn of April 2nd.
He was assaulted indiscriminately following breaking up with Choi, a man in his 20s, whom he had met for regarding 7 months.

“I grabbed my hair and pushed it to the floor, hit me and told me to stop. What did I do? Then I got a tape and tied my hands behind my back and behind me…”
Choi tied the victim’s hands and feet, as well as the body, with the tape used for packaging and beat them with hands and feet.
The victim suffered bruises and wounds all over her body, including her head, face and arms, and even had her hair cut off.

“I said, ‘I really can’t do it, I can kill you,’ and I immediately picked up the scissors and cut here first, then cut here…”
After being beaten for a long time, I even passed out, and when I woke up, more brutal assaults began.

“He was going to feed me dog poop. So I asked because I didn’t want to eat it so much that I didn’t want to eat it, and I didn’t want to eat the finger (with excrement) coming in. I wonder if he was angry with his pain or what, then the beating was really bad. ”
Choi forcibly fed the victim’s dog excrement.
Choi’s abusive behavior did not end there.

“I put tape around my nose and mouth… (Let’s pass out) After saying ‘I’ll wake you up’, I poured 2 liters of water on my face.
After the victim, who felt that he might die following being hit, overturned the breakup notice, Choi stopped the assault for nearly five hours.
When Choi left the house, the victim reported to the police and requested personal protection.
I immediately went to the hospital, and as a result of the diagnosis, 5 ribs were broken or cracked, and the whole body including the head and chest were wounded, so I was diagnosed with a dislocation for 4 weeks.
However, the police, who arrived at Choi’s house following receiving the report, did not arrest Choi immediately, and later applied for an arrest warrant, but even that was rejected by the court.
The prosecution has just turned over Choi to trial without detention, and the first trial has just ended.
The victim, who has been suffering from severe depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder for more than five months following the incident, is suffering from a greater sense of fear while watching the incident at Sindang Station.

“After the Shindang Station case broke out and that first trial was over, it was so scary. If you have a genuine heart, you might just stab me right away…”
