[국제][뉴있저] ‘Tweet bad boy’ Elon Musk, does he want to untie Twitter’s freedom?

Founder of ‘Paypal’, a leading American simple payment service, and ‘Neural Link’, a brain-computer interface company.

CEO of the private space company ‘Space X’ and the world’s largest electric vehicle company ‘Tesla’.

As you know, everyone is one person, Elon Musk, a ‘geek genius’ who makes imagination a reality.

Although electric vehicles can be easily seen on the streets now, Elon Musk succeeded in commercializing electric vehicles, which he thought was possible, and launching a manned spaceship for the first time in the private sector.

The American ‘Time’ magazine also described Musk as “a person who has had an extraordinary impact on life on Earth and possibly beyond Earth” and “a clown, a genius, a servant, a prophet, an entrepreneur, and a showman.”

As he succeeded in acquiring Twitter, concerns regarding Twitter content deregulation are emerging.

Musk calls himself a libertarian and a defender of freedom of the press, but as his nicknames ‘Silicon Valley’s bad boy’ and ‘Tweet bad guy’ suggest, he’s been doing something different from other entrepreneurs.

Musk, who has over 84 million followers, has been a frequent prologue, especially on Twitter.

After posting a tweet saying that Tesla’s stock price was too high, Tesla’s stock price plummeted by 10%, resulting in a market cap of regarding 17 trillion evaporating.

The price of virtual assets skyrocketed with a tweet saying that if you don’t buy Bitcoin, you will be able to pay for Tesla with Bitcoin.

Musk was also called ‘Doge Father’, as Dogecoin exploded when he tweeted that Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency created as a joke by developers, would conquer the world system.

As such, as the virtual asset market fluctuated with Musk’s words, criticism followed.

Oddly enough, an app called ‘Elon Alert’ has appeared that notifies you when Musk mentions cryptocurrency.

Musk controlled the world with Twitter and eventually took over Twitter.

Musk has been complaining all the time that Twitter does not guarantee freedom of expression, so it is interesting to see if the restrictions on Twitter that restrict hate speech will be lifted.

As he originally wrote in his tweet, if Twitter is delisted and converted to an unlisted company, Musk can easily manage Twitter as he pleases, so there are concerns regarding fake news and hate speech that will lead to freedom from defense.
