The first Ukrainian grain export vessel to depart via the Black Sea route passed inspection in Turkiye and left for its final destination, Lebanon.
If they arrive safely in Lebanon, it is known that up to three grain exporters will be able to depart from Ukraine a day.

The Lazoni, which departed from Odessa, Ukraine on the 1st of local time, passed through the Bosphorus and started sailing to Lebanon.
It is expected that it will take 4 to 5 days to reach the final destination, the Port of Tripoli, Lebanon.
If the Lazoni arrives safely at the port of Tripoli, the first grain export through the Black Sea will be completed five months following the Russian invasion.

The Razoni was previously docked near the entrance to the Bosphorus Strait in Istanbul, Turkiye and tested.
The Joint Coordination Center, made up of delegations from Ukraine, Russia, the United Nations and Turkey, confirmed through inspection that no unacceptable cargo other than grain was loaded.
The Lazoni is loaded with 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn.
The world food market has been thrown into chaos as the Russian invasion shuts down the Black Sea port of Ukraine, one of the world’s largest food exporters.
Grain tied up in Ukrainian ports is estimated at up to 25 million tonnes.
In Ukraine, 16 grain exporters are waiting to depart from three ports, including Odessa.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense had previously expected that one aircraft per day would be able to depart, but a high-ranking Ministry of National Defense official predicted that up to three aircraft might depart per day.
