The journalist Eligio Rojas made the information public through social networks, and assured that the investigation would have originated “as a result of a complaint made at the end of last year by one of the animator’s trusted doctors, who detected a picture of progressive poisoning with excessive medication application.
Given the delicate situation, Correa’s doctor reported the incident to the Public Ministry, from where they initiated a criminal investigation and clarified that it had “no relation to the treatments that were being applied to his patient“.
