▷ #COLUMNA PsicoTips – Rest, peace and joy: A possible triad #27Feb

Repeat this phrase: The body needs rest, the mind needs peace and… the heart needs joy.

A possible triad between [cuerpo-mente-emoción] and that validates in its reconstruction process, its role in the physical and emotional well-being of each person.

For the World Health Organization (WHO) the Health or Emotional Well-being It is defined as a state of mind in which the person has the ability to realize their own abilities, can face the normal pressures of life, works productively; he is able to support his environment in a voluntary and pleasant way. From “this look” the emotional dimension stands out, as a synergistic element of our triad.

Besides, peace presents various ways of being understood and explained. It can be understood as a positive energy co-created by several people, who without being physically close or as bed neighbors, want it and build it in actions rather than loud words; from breaths charged with balance, personal and collective respect. In such a way, that we can pluralize it, need it and cultivate it, regardless of colors, chromosomes, idiosyncrasy or abundance of objects, among others.

Our third element, and no less important, refers to to physical health, a dimension that has been demonized or has sometimes been sold in a distorted way, achieving bodily deformations wrapped in the insatiable need to “keep it in a closed chest and not breathe.”

To reaffirm the healthy connection, that it is necessary to assume regarding this variable, I share with you my personal list of what I consider to be NO ES physical health:

  • Physical health It is not, overeating or stop doing it.
  • Physical health It is not, abusing the sun’s rays or never exposing yourself to it, living [email protected]
  • Physical health It is not, drinking liquor without parameters or measure, until losing consciousness.
  • Physical health It is not, sleep under the frenetic use of medicines.
  • Physical health It is not obsessed with ceasing to live, for fear of losing physical health.

By way of Summary and Clarifying Myths:

No more turns to roulette…

Take care of yourself with all your personal tools, and reliably cultivate the premise that will be the best of your investments.

Become obsessed with abandoning your obsessions and perfectionist control of everything!, in such a way that you can enjoy your day-to-day without much pretense of extreme happiness, and thus maintain self-respect towards the emotions you are feeling at the moment -sadness , fear or anger-. For example, if the conflict of our [email protected] from Ukraine, it makes you sad or another emotion, do not limit yourself to speaking and acknowledging it. You are not a strange person if you feel like crying, when you see injustices or peoples firmly united by their ideals. Remember that crying is representative of humility, sensitivity and peace…

Remember to give your physical body time to “do nothing”, if that is what you want or “moments to do a lot”; you are the owner of your destiny and the movement of your steps, so listen to it calmly and without disturbance, otherwise (your body) he will find thousands of ways to express himself, get your attention and ask for help.

Finally, cultivate serene joy, this is a state that is accompanied by breathing without haste, walking in silence and smiling in complicity; It is accompanied by images-sounds full of nature, sea blue, mountain green or gray stones. The time to enjoy it daily in your homework and nobody else’s.

Psycho Tips:

  1. With sweetness and understanding, it is the way to serve you.
  2. Little by little, is the way to enjoy it…
