Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin sometimes calls him at night. The main communist of the country announced this on February 15 during a press conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
“He has a tough schedule and should be treated with respect. He always calls, – said Zyuganov (quote according to RBC). – However, sometimes the call comes following midnight. Well, I go to bed late, that suits me quite well.
The head of the Communist Party also admitted that, in principle, he can always easily contact the head of state directly, since Putin is “open for dialogue.” What exactly they are discussing during the night telephone conversations, Zyuganov did not specify.
Recall that on Monday, February 13, Vladimir Putin began a series of meetings with the leaders of parliamentary factions on the eve of the address to the Federal Assembly, which will be held on February 21. One of the first he met with Zyuganov. During the conversation, the President congratulated the Communist leader on the 30th anniversary of the revival of the Communist Party.
