For several days now, there has been speculation about Zygmunt Solorz and the future of his business empire. It all started with a letter from the entrepreneur’s three children – Aleksandra Żak, Piotr Żak and Tobias Solorz – addressed to the management staff of the largest companies owned by Zygmunt Solorz, including: Cyfrowy Polsat, Netia and Polkomtel. In the letter, the children of one of the richest Poles warned against making certain decisions.
Zygmunt Solorz’s conflict with children
Interestingly, yet At the beginning of August, Solorz signed documents giving his children control over his assets through two foundations registered in Liechtenstein. Now he’s trying to block this move. “I have therefore decided to change this situation and take action to dismiss my children from the authorities of the relevant companies in the coming weeks,” he commented.
On August 13, he sent a statement to Liechtenstein in which he claimed that it avoids the legal consequences of transferring property to children by a previous notarial deed. Thus, the local court blocked any changes to the statute of the TIVI and SOLKOMTEL foundations. The situation is currently stalemate – the children have no control over the property, and the businessman has not implemented the changes he planned.
A secret wedding
According to unofficial reports, it is Justyna Kulka, the businessman’s wife for several months, is the cause of a dispute with his children. The woman has been associated with the Cyfrowy Polsat group since 2012. She has been a member of the supervisory board of Telewizja Polsat for almost a year, and is also a member of the supervisory boards of many other companies, including: Netia and Interia. Solorz’s children, according to information published by “Gazeta Wyborcza”, are afraid that Justyna Kulka, who has a strong influence on Solorz, may lead to their disinheritance.
The speculations were fueled by the fact that the businessman and his wife are currently outside Poland. In an interview with “SE”, the entrepreneur explained that he was on his honeymoon in Europe. The couple’s wedding itself aroused considerable controversy. Zygmunt Solorz and Justyna Kulka got married secretly in Liechtenstein – even his children did not know about their father’s plans. After the wedding, the businessman’s wife became (under the power of attorney) the only person authorized to make decisions regarding treatment, including discontinuing treatment of Zygmunt Solorz. After pressure from the family, the power of attorney was also given to the daughter, but it is very limited.
Justyna Kulka controls Zygmunt Solorz?
According to journalists the businessman, who is still abroad, broke off contact with his children almost overnight. Piotr, Aleksandra and Tobias do not know where their father is. They last had contact during the Olympic Games in Paris. In the children’s opinion, Zygmunt Solorz became a hostage of Justyna Kulka. We have seen many documents indicating that the ailing Solorz has become a tool in the war to take control of the company he created – we read in Onet.
“Gazeta Wyborcza” found out that when Zygmunt Solorz’s closest associates and his relatives try to call him, Justyna Kulka answers the phone. First he convinces the businessman that he is in excellent condition and only then he gives him the phone. When Zygmunt Solorz takes the phone, he claims that the children wanted to cheat him and are trying to rob him. Some interlocutors have the impression that it sounds like he is repeating a previously prepared text – writes “GW”.
