30 years of existence is a good reason to celebrate. The Zwölfaxing singing club does this on June 10th with an anniversary concert entitled “Music, Music, Music” in the local music school.
It is said that singing is healthy. Thanks to the release of endorphins, serotonin and dopamine, singing makes you happy and improves your well-being. Since May 13, 1993, the Zwölfaxing singing club has been offering the opportunity to experience this kind of improvement in the quality of life in society and in a larger group. The 30th anniversary of the association will be celebrated on June 10th in the event hall of the Zwölfaxing Music School with an anniversary concert.
“Music, music, music” is the title of the concert, which can be attended from 7 p.m. and for a free donation. Under the musical direction of Ilse Storfer-Schmied, the singers will open the concert with “Zu guater Stund’ a Liadl” by Norbert Wallner. The program ranges from hits from the 1920s (“When the white lilacs bloom once more” by Franz Doelle) to the Bob Dylan classic “Blowin’ in the wind” and “Song sung blue” by Neil Diamond to the ABBA hit “I have a dream”. Works by Reinhard May, Hubert von Goisern or Udo Jürgens will also be heard alongside many other songs.
