Zwift launches its first home trainer: the Zwift Hub

The famous global platform dedicated to indoor cycling, Zwift, has just launched its very first connected home trainer, the Zwift Hub.

The Zwift platform has just launched, this Wednesday, its very first home trainer, the Zwift Hub. It is a Smart Trainer (connected home trainer), which allows you to perform virtual outings via connected platforms. The Zwift Hub offers a smooth, realistic and above all quiet piloting experience. Even at high speed, the noise of this smart trainer remains discreet.

Like most new home trainers, you don’t need a rear wheel to do your indoor workouts. The Zwift Hub comes with a cassette already pre-installed. It will be available for sale in the US, UK and EU for €499 on Zwift.com from October 3.

Eric Min, PDG and co-founder of Zwift

« There’s no doubt that Zwift Hub will shake up the market, and we think that’s great news for the consumer.. Lhen we started our gear manufacturing journey, it was important that the hardware served our primary purpose: improving the gaming experience. It was not an easy process. When getting started on Zwift, it can be complex to know exactly what equipment you need and it can be expensive. Zwift Hub helps us accomplish our mission of getting MORE PEOPLE, MORE ACTIVE, MORE OFTEN by making it easier and more affordable to access Zwift”.
