The owner of the shop is now being inundated with calls.
She is probably the most famous player in the world: Georgina Rodríguez. At the beginning of the year, the Netflix docuseries “Soy Georgina” regarding the 28-year-old partner of football star Cristiano Ronaldo was released. With 40 million followers, the former Gucci saleswoman has long been a celebrity herself on social media. Numerous fashion brands advertise with the influencer, including the Zurich luxury brand Vetements, where trousers cost 1,200 francs, T-shirts over 500 and caps more than 400 francs.
A few days ago she traveled to Zurich for Vetements. She later shared various pictures from the trip on Instagram: posing with the creative director of Vetements, in the limousine and on the private plane. But a blurry and out of place image of a hair extension studio in Zurich has also crept into the series of images. The mobile phone number of the owner is clearly visible in the picture. Over 1.6 million people have liked the pictures and over 15,000 have commented.
“I’m very grateful”
The owner is very surprised at the unexpected campaign: “When I heard regarding the post following a 20-minute call, I was stunned. I might hardly believe it, »says Ume (48). She also cannot explain why Georgina shared a picture of her hair salon on Instagram. “But one thing is clear: it is a blessing. I’m very grateful.”
At first she herself mightn’t understand the hustle and bustle, says Ume. “I have to admit that I didn’t even know who Georgina Rodríguez was until the weekend.” Her family and friends were very happy for her. And the Insta-Post is also popular with customers: in addition to many curious people who wanted to know whether Georgina was in the store, numerous people booked an appointment right away, says Ume. “The demand is overwhelming. I can hardly save myself from calls now.”
