– Tamedia journalist acquitted of defamation charges
With his critical article regarding the Phoenix pension fund and its founder Serge Aerne, the journalist has not committed any libel. Aerne does not accept the acquittal.

At the beginning of November 2019, the now 57-year-old journalist published an article in the “SonntagsZeitung”, which, like this newspaper, is published by Tamedia. Among other things, he raised the question of whether Serge Aerne, founder of the Phoenix pension fund collective foundation, wanted to use a front company to keep sensitive pension fund transactions secret from those close to him.
