Zulj show at LASK’s 4-0 win in the cup

LASK was late in completing its mandatory task in the football cup: In the second round match against the Regionalliga East club, the athletes ultimately won convincingly.

After the moment of shock when Vienna had a chance (13th minute), LASK showed off its quality: Zulj converted a pass from Sascha Horvath from the right to make it 1-0 (19th minute). There was a mirror image repeat at 2-0: George Bello crossed from the left and Zulj scored (36th minute).

Debut of Cisse, comeback of Mustapha

After the 3-0 (55th minute), Zulj’s working day was over – and coach Markus Schopp gave the next amateur player a chance: Modou Keba Cisse made his debut. The 19-year-old Malian first played in midfield, then in the center of defense, as Schopp tried out a three-man chain. Adil Taoui added the fourth goal (69th minute), then Ibrahim Mustapha made his comeback after a ten-month injury break.

The round of 16 will be drawn on Wednesday after the last two second-round matches between Donaufeld and Rapid and Wiener Viktoria and Salzburg (6 p.m., ORF 1).
