Zuckerberg vs. Musk MMA Showdown: Why the Fight Won’t Happen

Meta boss Mark Zuckerberg has said the mixed martial arts fight between him and X owner Elon Musk will ultimately not take place.

“I think we can all see that Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on,” Zuckerberg said on his social media.

“I proposed a real date. Dana White [le président de l’UFC] offered to make it a real competition to raise money for charity. Elon won’t confirm a date and said he needs surgery. He’s now asking me for a practice round in my backyard.”

“If Elon ever gets serious regarding a date and a real fight, he knows where to reach me. In the meantime, I’ll move on. I’m going to focus on competition and people who take the sport seriously.”

Last June, Musk posted a message on his platform saying he was “ready for a cage fight” with the boss of the Facebook and Instagram parent company. Zuckerberg responded by posting a screenshot of the tweet with the caption, “Send me the address.”

The clash which obviously won’t take place would have been quite uneven, considering that Zuckerberg is a fan of MMA and has recently won jiu-jitsu tournaments. Musk meanwhile confessed that he “almost never” trains.
