Zotac launched this Wednesday (18) a mini PC that stands out not only for its portable construction and balanced specifications, but also for being the first to come equipped with AirJet solid-state active cooling, a technology presented by the company during Computex 2023, event held in Taiwan.

With dimensions of just 27.5 x 41.5 x 2.8 mm and weighing 9 grams, the device (ZBOX PI430AJ) is equipped with the Intel Core i3 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR5). It supports 4K image resolution at 60 fps, supporting up to three monitors with these technical specifications.

As it does not have coolers or moving parts, the mini PC is extremely silent and can be used without disturbing the user in environments with little noise. Connectivity includes a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, HDMI and DisplayPort video outputs, and a Gigabit LAN port for connecting an Ethernet cable, as well as Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6.

This model also has an M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD slot, enabling hardware upgrades. The big highlight is the AirJet, which uses air flow to dissipate heat.

“Frore System’s AirJet Active Cooling Chip is the world’s first solid-state chip dedicated to rapid heat dissipation. The high-frequency vibrations of the on-chip membranes facilitate rapid airflow, removing substantial amounts of heat while being lighter , silent and much thinner than traditional fans.”, said Zotac.

This mini PC comes with a suggested price of US$500, around R$2,530 in direct conversion. It is listed on the manufacturer’s official website, but there is no information regarding availability yet. It is expected that more details will be revealed in the coming weeks, confirming the markets in which the product will be announced.
