ZOE Levana had a different experience when starring in the film Puang Bos. Zoe, who comes from East Java, is required to be able to dialogue using Makassar access.
“I have to learn a lot about Makassar language and culture. Apart from that, this not only tells the story of a romantic relationship between two people but also shows the history of how a pinisi ship was made by Makassar people,” said Zoe.
In order to perform optimally, Zoe studied Makassar language and dialect. The actress and celebrity admitted that she certainly experienced difficulties when learning this new language. However, he believes he has overcome the existing challenges.

“I don’t really know Makassar culture because I’m Javanese. So I had to learn Sulawesi language and culture and this was an interesting experience and different from other shoots. Because in this film I play a native Makassarese person, so I had to learn the language and “The dialect also includes having to learn to love the culinary delights,” said Zoe.
“The most difficult challenge was the problem of language and the correct Makassarese accent. So during the reading process and during the shooting process I had to really study so I could fit the role,” he continued.

Apart from Zoe, the film Puang Bos stars Michelle Ziudith, Ibrahim Risyad, Arif Brata, Pritt Timothy, Gilbert Pattiruhu, Mongol Stress, and others.
The film Puang Bos will be shown in cinemas on November 14 2024.
Puang Bos is the fourth of seven films starring Zoe. This 19 year old artist also wants to continue exploring his acting skills. He is also ready to enter the world of singing.
