Always in search of a bench for the rest of his career as coach – or coach -, Zinédine Zidane has officially been recruited… by Alpine. Present this Thursday during the presentation evening of the new 2023 version of the French team, in London, the former Real Madrid coach has been named brand ambassador. This new role, which is part of an associative project, will aim to integrate young people into the world of motorsport.
“It’s always a meeting that starts something,” Zidane said. I met Laurent Rossi (General Manager of Alpine, editor’s note) and his team in a Grand Prix and it all started there. They had a plan to give these young people equal opportunities and that interested me. From time to time, it’s good to put a little light. I had a little time too and it is necessary to highlight the interesting projects.
