Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first against Pakistan

In the second match of the three-match ODI series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, the visiting team has won the toss and elected to bat first.

National players Haris Sohail and Shadab Khan will not be able to participate in today’s match due to fitness issues. The 15-member national squad for the second match includes captain Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Abid Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmad and Khushdil Shah.

Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Musa Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Imad Wasim, Usman Qadir and Wahab Riaz have also been included in the squad.

Young Hyder Ali has been included in the squad in place of Haris Sohail while Shadab Khan has been rested for the second match as well.

According to the sources, Shadab Khan has a leg problem while Haris Sohail is facing a groin injury.

It should be noted that Pakistan has a one-zero lead in the three-match ODI series.

In the first ODI, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 26 runs. Pakistan won the toss and batted first, scoring 281 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.

Zimbabwe team was all out by scoring 255 runs in pursuit of the target of 282 runs given by Pakistan.

On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed five while Wahab Riaz dismissed four players. Brandon Taylor scored 112 and Midwere scored 55 runs for Zimbabwe.

Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 281 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
