Zhou Guanyu, “I’m not worried” about the loss of Alfa Romeo F1 seats in 2023[F1-Gate .com]

Chinese F1 driver Zhou Guanyu says he is not sure if he will keep the Alfa Romeo F1 seat next season.

Alfa Romeo F1 team representative Frederick Vasul appears to be happy with Zhou Guanyu’s season so far, especially well supported by his teammate Valtteri Bottas, but recent rumors say 23. Year-old Zhou Guanyu is named as one of the drivers whose future in F1 following 2022 is unclear.

“Valtteri is fast in the car and works well with the team outside the car. He’s great in terms of motivation and input,” said Frederick Vasul.

“And the collaboration with Zhou is wonderful.”

Nevertheless, Zhou Guanyu says he is not sure if he will be able to sign a contract with Alfa Romeo F1 in 2023.

“Since it’s early in the season, we don’t have any plans for the future, and we don’t know the plans yet,” Zhou Guanyu said.

“Of course there are a lot of ups and downs, but overall I’m very happy to be here, and I feel there are still many races to improve my abilities in F1.”

“If everything goes according to plan, I don’t think there is much reason to worry regarding what will happen in next year’s plan.”
