The series “Clone” has gained deafening popularity among the audience, not only due to the plot, but also the musical themes. The creators of the project cleverly used both popular tracks of pop artists and sensual oriental music during the filming. Quite unexpectedly, even Russian compositions fit into the “Clone”.
The television series regarding the recalcitrant Muslim woman Jadi was filmed by Gloria Perez and began airing in Brazil in 2001 on the Rede Globo channel. At first, even the creators themselves did not believe that “Clone” might become a popular project. They had too many fears because of the plot, because only recently the September 11 terrorist attack died down in America, and Clone is full of Muslim heroes.
Despite all the fears, the series was a resounding success. Moreover, this story regarding the love of two separated people, the creation of a copy of the protagonist through cloning, and the clash of Western and Eastern cultures gradually captivated people from various countries. Especially the project fell in love in Russia.
Not even a year passes on our television without some TV channel starting broadcasting Clone once more. Only the “Magnificent Age” can compete with him. However, one should not be surprised, because Gloria Perez really managed to come up with an interesting plot. But this would not be enough for such an impressive success, if not for other factors. So, for example, viewers have been praising this series for more than 20 years for the opportunity to admire Morocco and the desert. And the views of Rio de Janeiro capture many.
People also like the fact that the “Clone” is full of different music. On the Web, you can find entire playlists that contain oriental motifs from Marcus Vian. Fans of “Clone” also love to include the theme of Yvette and Leonidas – this couple, we recall, constantly danced to the song Luna by the Italian artist Alessandro Safina. And, of course, do not forget regarding the theme of Maiza. This heroine with a difficult fate appears on the screen under the touching track of Lara Fabian Meu grande amor.
However, not all admirers of “Clone” know that in the series you can also hear music from Russia. So, for example, the theme of Zhadi Urga was once written by our composer Eduard Artemiev for Nikita Mikhalkov’s film “Urga – the territory of love.” What is even more interesting, for the brawler Nazira, the creators decided to include … our Black Eyes, but in Turkish.
