2023-04-12 07:00:00

ZF has started production of the electric central drive Cetrax lite for light commercial vehicles in Friedrichshafen. First customer is Isuzu. The Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer is using the powertrain in its new ELF EV light distribution truck. There are further orders from Asia and America.

For the highly integrated drive, ZF uses synergies from the development and production of electric passenger car drives. It allows manufacturers to electrify existing vehicle platforms for light commercial vehicles up to 7.5 tons. Cetrax lite has a peak output of 150 kW (204 hp) and a torque of 1500 Newton meters and is characterized by its low weight of around 120 kilograms. (awm)
