Zenón stood out, Herrera failed

The Superclásico played this Sunday followingnoon featured the performances of Corrientes players Kevin Zenón in Boca and Andrés Herrera in River. In this clash of those born in Taraguy, the man from Goya stood out over the man from the capital, a former San Lorenzo player.

The Xeneixe midfielder was one of the team’s greatest figures. In the first half it was the key to finding play in the center, perhaps what Demichelis wanted to avoid. He had a dangerous free kick in the first half, but in the second half his level improved. He had assisted Edinson Cavani in the 13th minute for a volley that went over, but a few seconds later he placed it on his head and the Uruguayan did not miss.

After the victory in the Superclásico, Kevin Zenòn shared a story on his Instagram account (www.instagram.com/kevinzenon), along with the Peruvian Luis Advíncula.

For his part, the right back Andrés Herrera hinted with a couple of projections, but then suffered with the attacks in his sector and made a big mistake in the action prior to Boca’s second goal, that of Cavani, which was capitalized by Zenón and that led to the Uruguayan’s goal.
