“Today we can say that our plan for victory has been fully prepared,” Zelensky said in a video posted on his Telegram channel. “All the main points, additions and necessary details of the plan have been determined.”
Zelensky had said that he would present a new plan for war against Russia to US President Joe Biden next month and presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, calling it the “Ukrainian Victory Plan.”
“I will not go into detail, the plan is ready, and I think it is fair that I present this plan first to the President of the United States, because the success of this plan depends on whether the United States will allow us to obtain what is included in the plan or not, and whether we will be free to use the items and points included and the assistance provided within it or not,” he said.
As a reminder, Zelensky’s first statements about the alleged “victory plan” appeared at the end of last August, where he spoke about it including four points, the first of which is the attack on the Kursk region, while the other three points are a combination of the “Zelensky formula,” which the Kyiv authorities have been trying to promote in vain since 2022.
It is worth noting that Russia refused to discuss the “Zelensky formula,” considering it “detached from reality.” It stressed that it is ready to negotiate peace on the basis of initiatives that take into account the “new reality” on the ground.
The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that Ukraine has become a tool in the hands of the West, which wants to destroy the security structure in the region after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Last June, during his meeting with the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Russian President Vladimir Putin put forward an initiative for a peaceful settlement in Ukraine.
The initiative stipulates that Russia will declare an immediate ceasefire and its readiness to negotiate, as soon as Ukrainian forces withdraw from the territories of the new Russian regions.
In his initiative, Putin called on Kiev to declare its abandonment of its ambition to join NATO, implement a voluntary disarmament process, dismantle the organizational structures of Nazism in Ukraine, accept a position of neutrality and non-alignment with any political-military bloc, and be free of nuclear weapons. He also called on Western countries to lift the sanctions imposed on Russia.
