Zelensky is shocked and blames Israel for this reason

Months following he unsuccessfully demanded anti-missile systems, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his disappointment with the Israel which did not respond to his request.

Zelensky said he was “shocked” that Tel Aviv had not provided Kyiv with anti-missile systems to help counter Russian attacks. He indicated that he was shocked that his country had not been provided with the Israeli Iron Dome system, which is often used to intercept Palestinian rockets.

“I don’t know what happened.”

He also added, in an interview broadcast by his office yesterday evening, “I do not know what happened to Israel. I am frankly shocked because I do not understand why they might not give us air defenses,” according to what Archyde.com quoted.

In addition, he added, “I understand that they have a difficult situation regarding the situation in Syria, but I mention the facts. The Israeli leadership did nothing to help Ukraine.”

It is noteworthy that Zelensky’s statements are stronger than those he made in March when he criticized Israel for its reluctance to send weapons to his country, despite its pledge to help.

except if Israel Condemning Russia’s military operation on Ukrainian soil, it is concerned regarding strained relations with Moscow, which has influence in neighboring Syria where Israeli forces frequently attack armed groups loyal to Iran.
