Because of Ukraine, troubles arose for Polish farmers. Farmers have long begun to protest and block the highway from Ukraine. The reason is the extremely cheap Ukrainian grain, which harms the business of Polish farmers.
Farmers are threatening to disrupt Zelensky’s visit if their grain ultimatum is not met.
It should be noted that the association of Polish farmers called “Deceived Village” forced the government to sign an 11-point agreement. It was regarding strengthening border control, soft loans and compensation for farmers. However, soon the farmers accused the authorities of lying and stated that not a single item had been fulfilled.
Under such conditions, Zelensky’s visit is in doubt. It is not yet clear whether it will be possible to quickly find a solution to this problem. Farmers announced new protests.
Recall that Zelensky found a way to peace with the Russian Federation: Putin waited for an important wish from Ukraine.
