In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, fans of the Nintendo license will have the opportunity to discover a whole new plot. Through the skies or the depths of Hyrule, players will have to face the threat of Ganondorf descending (once once more) on the region. While surveying these new areas, Link will meet dragons. They are four in number and have different routes. But while it is impossible to tame them, this player has decided to build his own dragon, to compete with the “real ones”!

He’s building his own dragon!

It is on Reddit that a user with the nickname of GoneRad shared his creation. Tired of not being able to have your own dragon, he made one! He publishes a video in which we see him flying alongside Ordrac in the sky of Hyrule (with fire-resistant equipment of course). The result is simply impressive… but not very stable.

In comments, Tears of the Kingdom players are admiring, but fear for the durability of the battery. Admittedly the result is not perfect, but it made many users smile. The false dragon manages to perfectly copy Ordrac’s movements. From a distance, we might be mistaken!

“Like father, like son.”

How to make your own “dragon”?

Although not fully functional, this fake dragon is the envy. The creation of GoneRad is mostly made of a series of soneau turbines stuck together at different angles, allowing it to move like a dragon ensuring a serpentine movement. The aircraft also has two sets of “wings” at the front of the aircraft that provide stability and forward propulsion.

In comments, the creator of the mini dragon mentions that to obtain the characteristic movement of the dragon, it is not enough only to position the fans at different angles. Indeed, he also placed two soneau pots in the center of the dragon, which act as joints so that the movement remains fluid. The player specifies that he wanted to add a touch of elegance to his construction by sticking Ordrac scales on it as well as a Soneau flame emitter on the front. Now, the false Ordrac is larger than life!
