Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Minesweeper and Resident Evil are all candidates for the Video Game Hall of Fame.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Microsoft’s Minesweeper and Resident Evil are three of the twelve video games vying to be part of the 2010 edition of the competition. Le World Video Game Hall of Fame, whose new inductees will be announced in May.

Since 2015, the interactive museum The Strong, in the United States, has individually recognized the video games that it considers to be the most… have influenced popular culture, society, and the video game industry itself.

Last year Animal Crossing, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Carmen Sandiego and StarCraft were selected and inducted into the World Hall of Fame, from a list of finalists that also included Call of Duty, FIFA, and GuitarHero, among others.

This year, the list of finalists includes: Assassin’s Creed, Candy Crush, Dance Dance Revolution, The Legend of Zelda : Ocarina of Time, Minesweeper, Ms. Pacman, NBA Jam, PaRappa the Rapper, Resident Evil, Rogue, Sid Meier’s Civilisation et Words with Friends, as stated in a press release.

The players also have a say in this election. Until March 24, they can choose from this list of candidates who they think deserves to be in the World Hall of Fame. The video games finally selected will be announced le 5 mai.
