Makkah | Saudi Director of Public Security Lt. General Muhammad Al-Bassami said. An online platform project called ‘Sawahar’ is being launched to identify all pilgrims entering Makkah and the vehicles they are traveling in. Al Bassami was speaking at the 22nd Scientific Forum for Hajj and Umrah Research held at Umm al-Qura University in Makkah.
Al Bassami said security patrols will be equipped with systems that detect wanted persons when people and vehicles pass through the roads, analyze what is posted on social media platforms and connect with security command platforms.
