Zamalek refuses to pay Mustafa Mohamed’s dues in installments

The Zamalek Club administration rejected the request submitted by the Turkish Galatasaray Club regarding the installment of 4 million dollars, the value of activating the purchase clause in the loan contract of Mustafa Mohamed, the former player of Zamalek and the current Turkish Galatasaray.

The Turkish club had sent a request to pay the value of the deal in installments on June 30, but the Zamalek administration rejected the request, especially since the Turkish club activated the contract last December, and it had to arrange the required amount in order to end the deal, and the Zamalek administration needs the amount of 4 Millions of dollars to settle some summer deals to be concluded in preparation for the new season.

On the other hand, a source within the Zamalek club administration revealed that there is a clause in the contract to sell Mostafa Mohamed, the former player of Zamalek and the current Galatasaray, that allows Zamalek to recover the player free of charge at the end of the current season..

The source said that Mustafa Mohamed’s contract includes a clause to cancel the contract and return the player to the Zamalek club in the event the Galatasaray club is late in paying the value of activating the purchase clause beyond the 48-hour deadline, as the contract stipulates that the Turkish club pay the amount of 4 million dollars during a deadline that ends on June 30, next. In the event of a 48-hour delay in payment, the player becomes entitled to Zamalek without returning to the Turkish club, specifically on July 2, next.
