The technical and administrative staff of Zamalek Club has begun preparing for the team’s matches in the group stage of the African Confederation Championship, in which Zamalek is in the second group with the Libyan clubs Abu Salim, Angola’s Sagrada and Guinea’s Sowar.
Abdel Wahed El-Sayed, Zamalek’s director of football, asked Ibrahim Zaree, the team’s manager, to quickly communicate with the Egyptian embassies in Libya, Angola, and Guinea, to coordinate regarding the White Team’s trips there to play the Confederation’s matches.
In another context, Abdel Wahed Al-Sayed revealed that he had negotiated with Ahmed Fattouh, the Zamalek player, to renew his contract, as the player is committed to obtaining a percentage exceeding 70% of his financial requests, and that he has certainty that the player will renew the White Castle.
Abdel Wahed El-Sayed said, during television statements, “Colombian coach Osorio, the technical director of the Zamalek team, needs to support the team with only 4 players, and the coach has only two months of overdue financial dues.”
The director of football at Zamalek Club indicated that negotiations will take place with some players, such as Mahmoud Alaa and the two goalkeepers, Mohamed Awad and Mohamed Sobhi, during the coming period to renew their contracts.
The Zamalek team is preparing to play the Smouha match on October 21 in the fourth round of the Egyptian Premier League competition.
