As a continuation of the series of health awareness sessions for its employees, Zain hosted a special session on mental health on the occasion of World Mental Health Day, which falls on October 10, which was delivered by the humanitarian activist and entrepreneur Sheikha Majda Jaber Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah, and was attended by Zain Kuwait CEO Eman Al-Roudhan, and executive management officials. During the session hosted by Zain Innovation Center (ZINC), Sheikha Majida Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of mental health, how to achieve a balance between personal and work life, and the most prominent tips that employees can follow to take care of their mental health. Sheikha Majida also shared her personal journey in mental health with… employees, and touched on the psychological challenges that she personally faced, stressing the importance of removing the stigma associated with mental health.
Zain is keen on a regular basis to host health activities and events for its employees, which give them the opportunity to monitor their physical and mental health while they are at the workplace, such as basic periodic checks for blood pressure, diabetes, etc., in addition to providing seasonal and winter vaccinations, and blood donation campaigns, in addition to initiatives and campaigns.
