#world’s celebrities

The history of music around the world witnessed a repeat of a singer liking a song presented by another singer, so he decided to sing it once more.
A number of singers have reintroduced famous songs, sometimes once morest the wishes of the original singer of the song.

“do not lie”
Problems and negative feelings followed the song “Don’t Lie” before recording it, and it lasted for years. The poet Kamel El-Shennawy wrote it as a letter to Najat the little girl he loved unilaterally, but instead of being affected by his words and accusing her of treason, she asked him to sing it.
Mohamed Abdel Wahab composed the song, and Najat Al-Saghira quickly recorded it to be among the songs of the movie “Black Candles” in 1962.
Abdel Halim Hafez liked the song, so he decided to obtain the approval of Kamel El Shennawy, and Mohamed Abdel Wahab, and sing it in his concerts, then recorded it and put it on a disc for the audience.

Najat Al-Saghira became very angry and boycotted Abdel Halim Hafez until his death, rejecting all attempts at reconciliation between them. As for Kamel El-Shennawy, the song’s writer, he died of grief because of its success, and Najat’s neglect of his love.

“Al-Indah” (something from afar calls me)
The song surpassed the fame of its original singer, Laila Gamal, and some believe that the one who sang it was Najat Al-Saghira because of the sweetness of Laila Gamal’s voice.
The song appeared for the first time in the events of the movie “Al Nadah” in 1975, and it was written by Morsi Jamil Aziz, and composed by musician Mohamed El Mougy.
The song “Al Nadaha” remained as one of the most famous songs in old films. In 2001, Mohamed Mounir decided to sing it in a contemporary way, and it was released in his album “My Heart, Masaken Sha’bi” under the name “Something from Afar”, which is the common name of the original song among the audience.
Mohamed Mounir sang “Something From Afar” with a rhythmic arrangement, in contrast to the original song, which had a calm character that reflected the feelings of fear of “Al Nadah”, which captured Magda’s mind in the movie “Al Nadah”.

“Banulf”
Written and composed by musician Baligh Hamdi in the elegy of his friend, singer Abdel Halim Hafez, and sung by Warda in 1977.
The sincerity of Baligh Hamdi’s feelings, who grieved greatly for the death of his friend, made the song remain in the audience’s memory, and Samira Saeed re-sung it in the eighties.
Mostafa Qamar decided to re-present the song in the movie “Al-Batal” in 1998, and it was released on his album “Al-Soud Oyounoh”.

Bang Bang” (My Baby Shot Me Down)”
The American singer Cher sang it in 1966, following her husband at the time, Sonny Bono, wrote it, and it achieved great success in Britain and the United States of America.
Singer Nancy Sinatra decided to record the song in the same year with a new musical arrangement, to achieve overwhelming success, exceeding what Cher had achieved, and some even believe, until now, that she is the owner of the original song.
The success of the song prompted the singer Dalida to record the Italian version of it in the same year, to achieve an impressive success, and won awards for it.
