This Tuesday, February 13, 2024, Bernard Montiel is back with a new issue ofOlympiascope, on Olympia TV. And for this new show, the 66-year-old presenter received a singer who is widely talked regarding for her talent: Zaho de Sagazan.
She’s THE singer of the moment. She can boast of being a true phenomenon at only 24 years old. On February 9, Zaho de Sagazan won everything in his path during the Victoires de la musique 2024, a program presented by Léa Salamé and Cyril Féraud for the first time and broadcast live from the Seine Musicale on France 2 and France Inter. While she was nominated in five categories, the interpreter of The Symphony of Lightning won four awards (album, original song, scene reveal and female reveal).
A very sensitive artist
Fans of Zaho de Sagazan will therefore be delighted to learn that she was Bernard Montiel’s guest in Olympiascope. For the first time, the young woman took to the legendary Olympia stage to perform her songs. But before that, she answered the presenter’s questions, which can also be found in Do not touch My TV or Star Animals. The opportunity for her to reveal what this fabulous place evokes for her: “Olympia immediately brings to mind Brel and Barbara for me. (…) I know that all my idols of French song have been there.”
During her interview, Zaho de Sagazan was also asked regarding her great sensitivity which was not always easy to live with: “Indeed, I had a lot of trouble managing sensitivity for a very long time. Afterwards, I had the chance to discover the piano. That’s when I began to understand that this sensitivity when it translates into song, it does me a lot of good. And maybe even some other people.”
