After a 50-year career, Yves Lambert, a member of la Bottine smileante, enjoys performing on stage during the holiday season.
Indeed, he will perform between December 23 and 30 in a show that “touches the soul and the human in all its sensitivity”.
“The rooms are full!” despite the recession, rejoices the icon of traditional Quebec music.
“I am really happy. Happy with my band, it’s an exceptional band,” he says.
“I am very warm with people and my goal is to put them in a good mood because they need it these days.”
The musician wishes to bring lightness and softness to everyone in 2024 with his album “Romance Paradis” which will be released on January 26.
He claims to have “never loved so much [son] profession like now”.
The Quebec artist says he has evolved over a 50-year career, notably “in the understanding of the profession, the public’s appreciation and in the responsibility of the artist”.
The singer claims to have broken a record for ticket sales which were sold in 1h30 for his show in the Résidences Soleil this week.
“I have become the Taylor Swift of Résidences Soleil,” says Yves Lambert with a laugh.
