Yverdon Sport will play well in the Super League next season. The Licensing Commission of the Swiss Football League has indeed officially confirmed the license II initially granted at the end of April to the winner of the Challenge League championship.
The Vaudois club can therefore thank Neuchâtel Xamax and the Neuchâtel authorities, who have agreed to make La Maladière available to Yverdon for their first home matches of the 2023/24 season. The time that the Municipal Stadium of Yverdon is brought into conformity through works, that is to say by the end of September.
Sion well and truly relegated
Yverdon Sport had indeed had to find an alternative solution following the Canton of Valais had refused to “lend” Tourbillon. This decision hadconstituted a significant change in the situation, leading to the opening of a license confirmation procedure“, underlines the SFL in its press release.
