In the first match of the evening, Schaffhausen won 3-1 against Yverdon. The goal of the match was the work of Raul Bobadilla.
The Paraguayan striker was playing his first game in Schaffhausen colors and found the net with a nice “bicycle” for the 2-0.

In front of a Super League-worthy crowd of 7,600, FC Winterthur won the Challenge League top game 4-2 against leaders Aarau.
After an exciting first half – it was 2-2 after 24 minutes – both teams were more cautious and chances of goals became rarer for both sides. The game looked set to end in a draw when Aleksandar Cvetkovic was sent off for a second caution in the 80th minute.
The Zurichers knew how to use their numerical advantage perfectly to score two goals. Samuel Ballet, attacker on loan from Young Boys, prepared the 3-2 for former Xamaxien Thibaut Corbaz. He then scored the 4-2 himself.
Thanks to this success, Alex Frei’s Winterthur find themselves two points behind Aargau.
