Yuki Tsunoda “I think I can aim for points because my understanding of the car is deepening” / Scuderia Alpha Tauri F1 Dutch GP preview[F1-Gate.com]

Yuki Tsunoda (Scuderia AlphaTauri) spoke about his enthusiasm for the 2022 F1 Round 14 Dutch Grand Prix.

A week ago at Spa-Francorchamps, Yuki Tsunoda finished 13th after starting the pit lane. He didn’t show up in the results, but he says he has a better understanding of how to get more out of the car.

“It was fun to race again after the break. It was a bit of a disorganized weekend. , the pace of the car was also quite good.”

“Now we are heading to Holland for the middle race of the European triple-header.Since my last race here, I have done some filming with Max at the Red Bull Challenge and actually visited the track. Driving the DAF cars in reverse was a lot of fun and gave me a sense of what was going to happen this week with the atmosphere of Holland.”

“Last year I had to retire from the race at Zandvoort. Up until that point I was enjoying the weekend. I’m looking forward to driving the new car this year because it’s fun to do, it’s stiffer and has 18″ tires on it so how it behaves in this place over banked corners and over bumps I am interested in

“Now that we have a better understanding of the car and how to get more out of it, I think if we can get some clean time at Zandvoort, we can go for the points.”
