The police officially named Yudha Arfandi as a suspect in the murder case of Dante (6), anak Tamara Tyasmara. Yudha was charged with premeditated murder in this case.
Police revealed that Yudha Arfandi drowned Dante 12 times in the swimming pool. He did this at varying times.
Director of Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Wira Satya Triputra said the suspect Yudha had made suspicious behavior in the swimming pool. Yudha looked left and right for a moment before drowning Dante.
“The modus operandi carried out was based on the results of investigations and inquiries, namely that the suspect looked to the right and left to ensure that no one was watching, then immersed the victim in the pool 12 times,” said Kombes Wira to reporters, Monday (12/2 ).

Commissioner Wira said Dante was drowned 12 times in the swimming pool. Victim drowned for varying amounts of time.
“With varying time durations, including 14 seconds, 24 seconds, 4 seconds, 2 seconds, 26 seconds, 4 seconds, 21 seconds, 7 seconds, 17 seconds, 8 seconds and 26 seconds. While the last one is 54 seconds, ” he said.
At that time Dante tried to swim to the shore to save himself. However, the suspect Yudha always prevented him.
“Then the victim tried to swim to the edge of the pool, but the suspect made suspicious movements so that the victim might not reach the edge of the pool,” he said.
Yudha then lifted Dante to the edge of the pool. The pool attendant came and… give first aid to Dante.
“Next, the suspect lifted the victim and placed him on the edge of the pool. After the victim was given first aid by witnesses at the edge of the swimming pool, it was discovered that the victim was not breathing. Food residue and foam came out of the mouth and nose and then the victim was declared dead,” he explained.
