Streaming service YouTube TV has announced another price increase, marking the second hike this year. Starting in 2025, subscribers will pay $82.99 per month, a $10 increase from the current rate. The company cites increased content costs and a commitment to delivering high-quality programming as reasons behind the price hike.

” As investment in content and technology continues to rise, we have made the difficult decision to adjust the price of YouTube TV to $82.99/month.

As we continue to invest in bringing you the best possible experience, we have had to make some changes to keep delivering the programming you rely on,” the announcement read.

Although unleashing frustration and disappointment among viewers struggling with rising costs, the price change comes as no surprise. Streaming platforms across the board are grappling with escalating costs and are passing those costs onto their users.
