YouTube Music has been undergoing small redesigns for some time now. Last year, for example, platform users noticed the arrival of the broadcast button in the service’s miniplayer.
Now, still in this department, the platform’s developers are carrying out a new test, revamping the cast screen interface for other devices no Android.
Instead of the now famous “Stream to” window occupying the center of the screen, the new interface occupies the bottom part of the display, leaving part of the album or single cover still visible.
There, users will first have a list of suggested devices and then a complete list of all devices available for transmission.

Additionally, as you can see in the screenshots below, when transmitting to another device, a much more compact and discreet interface will indicate, at the bottom of the screen, where the current track is playing along with a volume slider.
Currently, this same interface occupies a large part of the screen. Check out the comparison:
Although a few users of the streaming service and Android have reported the arrival of the new interface, it is worth remembering that the new design is still in the testing phase and is not available to all users.
However, if it is approved, it is likely to become available to all users of the platform over the next few months.
