Tunisian actress Latifa revealed the details of her work with the late director Youssef Chahine, noting that the movie “Scott Hansour” was one of the best artistic experiences she had.
Latifa said, during a television interview: “What Youssef Chahine used to tell me regarding, I would do it … except for one thing that he asked for and I refused it, and it almost caused a big problem.” I will do scenes of kisses or something else.”
And she added: «The scene was not present in the scenario, but rather it was created in front of the camera while we were filming, so I refused and stopped filming and left the location».
Latifa added that Khaled Youssef tried to convince her of the scene, adding: “I told him, ‘No, I can’t.’
Latifa explained that the only one who supported her in this crisis was the artist Ahmed Wafik.
