The director, Yousry Nasrallah, commented on the absence of the artist, Abla Kamel, from the artistic community for a long time.

Yousri Nasrallah said, during his meeting with the media, Engy Anwar, on the “New Egypt” program on ETC channel: “Abla Kamel is free to disappear, and it is much better than saying that she retired because art is forbidden.”

He added, “She decided she wanted to sit in her house and felt that she was tired, and I had the same feeling of lights all the time.”

For his part, Yousry Nasrallah called for the Cairo Film Festival to honor the actress, Abla Kamel recently, as he shared with his followers a post on his personal Facebook account, in which he said: “It is not time for us to honor Sitt al-Kul, Abla Kamel.”

The artist, Abla Kamel, cooperated with a number of the most famous stars of Egyptian drama, cinema and theater throughout her career, the most prominent of which was with Youssef Chahine in “Goodbye Bonaparte” in 1985, the play “Point of View” 1989 starring Mohamed Sobhi, the series “Nights of Helmiyyah” and other works that left an imprint on me. The audience.

It is noteworthy that the artist Abla Kamel’s last artistic participation was in the audio performance of the movie “The Knight and the Princess” in 2020, written and directed by Bashir El Deek.
