Author revealed Yousry Al-Fakharanihead of dramatic content at the United Media Services Company, regarding the first poster of the series “The Laughing Crying”, which deals with the life story of the late artist Najib Al-Rihani, which is scheduled to be presented during the coming period through one of the United Company’s channels.
Yousry Al-Fakhrani published the laughing and weeping poster through his official account on the social networking site “Facebook”, commenting: “After a year of hard work for a professional team, soon the great director Mohamed Fadel, regarding the life story of the great actor Najib Al-Rihani, laughter, tears, people, life, stars and your arrogance.” Amr Abdel Jalil, the hero of the series, appeared during the poster, assuming the role of the late artist, Naguib Al-Rihani, while he was on the stage.

The crying laughing series Starring Amr Abdel Jalil, Razan Maghribi, Mostafa Shawky, Ferdous Abdel Hamid, and other artists, and the work was written by Mohamed El Ghaiti, directed by Mohamed Fadel, and produced by Shadi Abu Shadi, and Karim Abu Shadi.
The director, Mohamed Fadel, had made it clear that the series “The Weeping Laughing” would not be a biography of the late artist Naguib Al-Rihani, but it would be a work that embodies the events that took place in Egypt during a period of time starting from 1910 until 1949. He revealed that “the work will include the events of the 1919 revolution.” And the period of Sayyid Darwish and the period of World War I, as well as World War II through the character of Najib al-Rihani and other characters.
