20-year-old Tsang Lang-kit successfully climbed Mount Vinson, the highest mountain in Antarctica, earlier this month, becoming the youngest Hong Konger to conquer the highest mountains on the seven continents.

He said that factors including weather were favorable during the process, so the team members used a quick strategy to reach the summit. He also mentioned that in addition to mountaineering physical fitness and skills, he also had to overcome financial issues.

He and his father, mountain climbing expert Tsang Chi-shing, became the first father and son in Hong Kong to conquer the highest peaks on the seven continents. Tsang is happy that his son has achieved his goal, but he also believes there is room for improvement.
