Bhopal: A young man was attacked for slapping his face in the face following he made a sexual remark. Police say the young woman, who was injured in the retaliation by a group of youths, had 118 stitches on her face. The young man, who said obscene things, hit the young woman in the face and assaulted her. The incident took place in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
The incident happened when she arrived at the hotel with her husband. The dispute was related to parking the bike. When her husband went to the hotel, the young men were talking obscenely to the young woman and whistling. The impatient young woman slapped the young man in the face. They went inside the hotel. On her way back, a group of youths attacked her with a paper cutter. The injured were rushed to a hospital.
Police arrested two members of the three-member group. CCTV footage was also obtained. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited the woman at the hospital. All assistance was guaranteed. He also promised a reward of Rs 1 lakh for his skill in dealing with obscene youth. The CM said the woman’s response was exemplary.
