Thiruvananthapuram: A young woman was found dead in the toilet of her house in Puthanthop, Kurinkulam. His nine-month-old son was admitted to the hospital with severe burns. Anju (23), wife of Raju Joseph Tinsili, died in Puthanthop Roja Dale. Their son David is on ventilator in a private hospital.
The incident happened around 7 pm on Tuesday. When her husband Raju came out, Anju was found burnt and the baby was burnt in the toilet. Then the locals were called and the baby was taken to a private hospital in the city.
Residents of nearby houses say that they did not know that the fire broke out in the toilet. Raju told the neighbors that after going to watch a football match in Puthanthope, he came home during the break and found him burnt. However, the police said that they could not confirm where the husband was at this time and the preliminary conclusion is that it was suicide and a detailed investigation will be conducted.
Anju’s parents have accused the incident of being mysterious. Raju and Anju got married in the month of November 2021. The deceased Anju was the daughter of Venganur Poonkulam Pramod and Shailaja.
