Teh holiday season proved to be a triumphant one for young hockey players from Vlci Žilina.The talented team secured not one, but two impressive first-place finishes at tournaments held in Slovakia adn the Czech Republic, showcasing their burgeoning skills and unwavering dedication.
A Close Call and a respectable finish in Nové Mesto nad Váhom
The Vlci Žilina’s 4th hockey team kicked off their tournament run on December 28th at the tournament in Nové Mesto nad Váhom. Although they narrowly missed a podium finish by losing in the bronze medal game, their strong performances throughout the competition earned them a respectable fourth place.
Dominating the Ice in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm
The following day, the 2013-born Vlci Žilina players traveled to Rožnov pod Radhoštěm in the Czech Republic. There, they delivered an unforgettable performance, displaying exceptional teamwork and skill. As a coach proudly stated, “They did not find a winner in the tournament!” The team dominated the competition, ultimately claiming the championship title.

“After the awkward first day,when they got used to playing hockey on a large surface,they showed their skill and combativeness on the second day.They became the overall winners of the tournament,” their coaches proudly remarked. The team battled thru an elimination format, ultimately defeating HC Karviná in the finals with a decisive 5:2 score.

Jeong Hyeong-sik (JHS): Thank you for having me. It’s an honor to be considered for such a pivotal role in our judiciary. my vision for the Constitutional Court is rooted in the principles of fairness,clarity,and the protection of essential rights.I believe the Court must serve as a guardian of the Constitution, ensuring that the rule of law is upheld and that every citizen feels their rights are protected.
